what's for food??

Ouch.. Gracious has so many things to blog about, yet she doesn't know where to begin with. Shall I begin with… food?

Oh yes, she’s famished for midnight supper now, despite having a very Malaysian Satay for dinner.

Nop, I’m not kidding. There’s really satay here in Melbourne. And *clears throat* I meant DIY satay. Of course, having lack of the authentic proper ingredients, the outcome was just as excellent as you expect, and i'm sure it will not let you down!. It was just as great as you would ask for more!

Yeo’s is such a good company. It caters its customers’ needs and wants especially those living abroad. To add value, the taste of the satay sauce is almost as original as those you would taste at the hawker centre at Penang, except that Yeo’s satay sauce need to add more peanuts to it. I did not know the existence of the satay sauce until I received that for free at the Singapore Day. I was so lucky I grabbed that!. Hehe. Say me kiasu or what. LOL

the customized satay

I’m really looking forward to arrange a BBQ so that I can try to marinade the satay. Muahaha!!!

a night out at Meshiya Restaurant

tadaa. a picture of me to break the ice!!

Still remember that I told you dad and sis come to Melbourne? Well, the first day they were here, we went to Meshiya Japanese Restuarant at QV.

Well, the environment wasn't that bad, despite the space in the restaurant itself is rather limited. You can then imagine it isn't comfortable for a big size guy or girl.

As in the food quality, I reckon that Shuji Sushi at Flinders La taste better as in the same food that my sis ordered. Service quality wise was satisfactory, they give recommendations to customers who doesn't know which to choose, like me! :P

sunset at st kilda

Ah, my uncle, aunt, Ryan, Chi Ann, sis and I had a birthday feast for the July babies - sis and Ryan with a day different. Uncle recommended us to Sofia, which was indeed very nice. We ordered a very large pizza, as seen below, A something fettucine Sofia and a Sofia lasagna. Sounds little, but indeed I make myself so full and ah, had a glass of wine too. Delicious I would say.

The pizza.

After having a heavy lunch, went to St Kilda to meet up with the 3 guys, arvy, hanz and dani. It was ssooooooooooo gloomy that day and the wind would just blow you away if you claimed yourself to be skinny. Being there for about 3 hours make my cheeks turn so red that I din't realised until I went to McD's toilet and looked myself shockingly. The objective of this trip is to shoot sunset and the outcome are as below:

Sunset at St Kilda. Looks so romantic

A gloomy sky at the pier. Looks like end of the world, ah touch wood.

The blanket of dark clouds covered the sea.
